DETAILS
If your Accord CD6 radio (7BK1, 7BK2, 7BY1 and 7BY2 only) has a blank display, this part will solve the problem. This is the bottom part of the block assembly, which has the main board attached to it. The display controller is also on this board. The CD6 drive is not included, so this won't solve any CD problems.
It will NOT solve your problems if you have button lights that are out. In fact, if you have that problem and all your button lights are out, you may have bigger issues and this board is not even guaranteed to solve the blank display issue, if that is the case.
It is a brand new original Honda part and comes with the original Theft Code stickers. Apply them in multiple places, like your glovebox and owners manual and forget about every getting locked out of your radio again.
Accord radios are known for their problems with the display. No need to buy a whole new radio for 5 times the money. No need to buy a whole block for 3 times the money. (Unless you also have button lighting or CD6 drive issues.)
There is no soldering necessary but extensive dis-assembly of your current block will be required for installation of this item. Instructions are not included. You should not be attempting this repair if you are not qualified. Hire someone who is qualified if you are not a radio technician.
Returns are not accepted for this product for any reason other than functional defect and, even then, your only option would be replacement with the exact same model. So make sure to check your face code!
APPLICATIONS
This block will work in the following vehicles, as long as you have a 7BK1, 7BK2, 7BY1 or 7BY2 radio. (Face code is found in the lower right corner of your display window, embossed in small white print.) Make sure yours is listed because this does NOT work for any other face code and returns are not accepted. Unfortunately we have FAR too many people (about 50%) who buy these without checking their face code and then ask to return or exchange it. As a result, we may ask you to confirm your face code prior to shipping. We reserve the right to refund the payment and cancel the order if we do not get a response. If you indicate your face code with your payment, we can avoid this potential situation.
