DETAILS
This is a parts listing, not a radio! Some people buy from our parts listings thinking they're getting a radio, despite VERY clear titles, pictures, and ads. Our ads are also very clear if returns are not accepted. We have good reasons for not accepting returns on some items. If you don't like 'No Returns' listings, feel free to shop around. But please don't blame us if you get the wrong thing because you didn't read the ad and then find we actually enforce the No Returns policy also stated several times in the ad. All situations addressed in this paragraph are brought on by a failure to read the ad. Now, on to the item details...
If you have a vehicle on the list below and your radio looks like one of them pictured below and you have lights out behind your radio buttons, this factory original part will solve your issue. (Unless your light all went out at the same time. If that happened, chances are, it's not a problem on this board but, rather, a problem on your main board. This won't solve mainboard problems.) It has been remanufactured by an authorized GM radio facility to like new condition. This includes putting new bulbs on the board for the button back-lighting.
This is just the display control board. It is intended to solve button back-lighting problems ONLY. It is not guaranteed to solve any other problem (volume control, display issues, etc.) It is not even guaranteed to solve button back-lighting problems if all your lights went out at once. There is more to a radio than a display-control board and other problems can often be a result of different components or a combination of issues.
APPLICATIONS
Radios with this same basic board were offered in the cars and mini-vans from 2000 up. (As well as a few midsize trucks and SUVs.) If you have a car or minivan and your radio looks like one of the following, this should work for you. This does NOT work for any vehicles not mentioned. Please don't assume that, just because it looks like the fullsize truck/suv board, it will work. It's different. Some of the parts may be the same but it is NOT a direct swap!! If in doubt, pull your volume or tune knob off the radio. If you have a skinny metal shaft behind it, this is the right board for you. If, on the other hand, you have a large plastic shaft, this is NOT the right board. You need the fullsize truck/suv board. Returns are not accepted, so you need to make sure you've read this ad and have checked everything BEFORE ordering. A list of radio part numbers this is known to work for appears below this application chart.

Alternatively, a GM dealer can look it up for you using your VIN.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Assembly is pretty easy. You will only need a regular screwdriver to remove the top and bottom plates and a 1/8 nut driver to remove the display/control board from your face. First, you need to disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the radio from the vehicle. The radio needs to be disconnected from the vehicle at least 30 minutes prior to beginning this process. Prior to removing the face, you MUST disconnect all three plugs for the board. One plug is under the top plate and two are under the bottom plate. You will also pull the knobs off. Then you will work your way around the tabs holding the face on, prying them up while you pull the face away from the radio. Finally, when the face is off, use the nut-driver to remove the screws that hold the board to the face. Repeat in reverse of re-assembly.
DETAILED NOTES:
The board is remanufactured to like new condition. New bulbs were installed for the button lighting. Returns are not accepted for this product. We accurately describe our products. Check our feedback. Enough said!
