DETAILS
This OEM GM remote (aka: fob) has never been programmed to a vehicle. It is an assembly line left-over. It has four buttons on it: Lock, Unlock, Hatch and Panic. The blade has been removed, so you will need to swap your blade into it. This is easily accomplished by driving out the pin on the blade housing with a 1/16th punch. (Or you can check out our other listings with the blade included.)
As with many vehicle parts, there are multiple versions that sometimes look the same or similar. To ensure you can use these, please make sure your current remote part number matches what we have listed here. (13500227.) The FCC ID appears to have been listed for some of the following: 2010 Buick Allure, 2014-2016 Buick Encore, 2010-2016 Buick Lacrosse, 2011-2016 Buick Regal, 2012-2016 Buick Verano.
Programming of this fob will be required. If you have a functioning key (and fob) in your possession, you can try the following: Insert the functioning key (with fob) into the ignition, turn it to ON (not Run) for 3 seconds, turn it off, remove the key, insert the key attached to the new fob into the ignition, turn it to ON and a message should flash on the info screen after 3+ seconds that a 3rd (4th, 5th, etc) remote has been programmed. This can also be performed at a GM dealer if you are having troubles. Please understand we have no control over the GM programming process. These are brand new fobs and can be programmed successfully if the correct procedure is followed. Not being prepared (or willing) to do this does not make this defective or not usable.
This is a clearance item, so returns are not accepted. However, there is a 30-day exchange warranty on it for your peace of mind. Check our feedback. We're very reliable and we've been around for years.
