APPLICATIONS
This radio will work for the following vehicles, as long as you do not have the BOSE system and the vehicle never had a navigation radio in it. It is not an original part number for these vehicles, so it has a slightly different colored face. (It's a tad lighter, with a little metallic in it.) It is set up to work without BOSE.
It's a great way to replace an AM-FM radio, a basic U1C CD radio (which does not have the ability to add XM or play MP3 files from a CD), or add a radio to a vehicle that had the radio delete option. This is NOT intended for 'exact' replacement (say you have a US9 CD6 radio now) or downgrades. (Say you have navigation, Bluetooth, or a UUI USB radio.) You risk this not working for you at all, in these cases. Please don't say we didn't tell you so...

*This is a custom offering put together by ReplacementRadios. We start with a brand new GM radio intended for another vehicle, which is set up for non-BOSE equipped vehicles, so you don't have to get it programmed. We used this radio in a non-BOSE 2012 Chevy Silverado locally and we've sold dozens of them to other customers, so we know it works as described. It's a great way to replace an AM-FM radio, a basic U1C CD radio (which does not have the ability to add XM or play MP3 files from a CD), or add a radio to a vehicle that had the radio delete option.
This is NOT intended for 'exact' replacement (say you have a US9 CD6 radio now) or downgrades (say you have navigation or a UUI USB radio.) You risk this not working for you at all, in these cases. Please don't say we didn't tell you so...
Since this radio was originally intended for a different GM vehicle, there are a couple differences you need to be aware of. It is a slightly lighter color and it has some metallic to the finish. It does not look bad but it bears mentioning so you don't think you're getting an exact replacement. (Which would be hard, given how many times we've mentioned it...) The turn signal and warning tones might be louder too. Not blow your eardrums loud but possibly noticeably louder.
Return Policy:
Returns are not accepted. Why? Because once it is installed in your vehicle, it isn't new anymore. That and we created this bundle to get rid of some radios we are overstocked on. This kit was tested in 2012 Chevy Silverado without BOSE and it's also been purchased by dozens of customers, so we know it works.
Warranty Policy:
A warranty exchange is different from a return. If you have a defect within the warranty period (which shouldn't happen with a new radio), we offer replacement with the same part number only. No upgrades, downgrades, credits, refunds, etc.
