These vehicles were known for audio problems as a result of a problematic amplifier/booster located remotely from the radio. If you're having problems with low or no sound from certain speakers, replacing the radio may not solve your problem. You should eliminate other possible causes for your audio problems BEFORE purchasing this radio. This radio, like all the newer GM radios, is designed to work in conjunction with your car's computer. Consequently, you may need your dealer to program the computer once it is installed in your car.
