DETAILS
This is an OEM Kia remote (aka: fob) that has never been programmed to a vehicle. We show it to be for some 2910 and 2020 Kia Sorento. It's an assembly line left-over. It has four buttons on it: Lock, Unlock, Hatch and Panic. The blade has been removed, so you will need to swap yours into it. This is easily accomplished by driving out the pin on the blade housing with a 1/16th punch. (Or you can check out our other listings with the blade included.)
As with many vehicle parts, there are multiple versions that sometimes look the same or similar. To ensure you can use these, please make sure your current remote part number and FCC ID matches what we have listed here.
Programming of this remote will be required. This is generally performed at a dealer but some locksmiths or auto repair shops may be equipped to do it as well. We cannot provide information on this process or a price quote. That will have to come from the shop actually doing the programming. Not doing research on that process ahead of time does not make this item not usable or defective. Please ensure you know the process and are prepared to have it performed before you purchase. Each fob has a tag on it with a code. So, if this code is needed during the programming process, it's there.
There is a 30-day exchange warranty on it for your peace of mind. Check our feedback. We're very reliable and we've been around for years.
